Is Ryle freshman also running a split backfield? If so why wouldn't

I can't say one way or the other. They only played about 10 plays and surprisingly we threw the ball several times. I'm sure we will know more Thursday after the Freshmen/JV scrimmage.

Not to sure on how Newport's freshman team will fare out but they have an excellent running back in Brandon Tucker who should make some noise on freshman level this year.

I saw some of the NewCath frosh, the don't look very big but they have speed. Campbell County has some big kids and they had the best turnout in years, 40+ kids.

 

I saw NCC roster and as I said before they are not very big. Only a few kids over 200 lbs and only 2 kids 6'0 and over. They will have to survive on speed.

I heard CCH is not on Highlands' frosh schedule..... canyou explain that?

 

With the exception of a team picking up a game in the first week the schedules are set.The 3A & 4A teams play each other with them alternately home field from year to year. The same format goes for the small schools as well. So the same team you play this year the second week you will play them the same week next year except you flip home field
