Final. Tight game for most of the way. Mercer pulled away in the 4th. Wayne County shot 3/30 from 3 and about 20ish percent from the field.

Im curious to hear some more thoughts on the game from some people in attendance.

Impressive win for Mercer Co. Going into one of the toughest places in the state and getting a 10 point win tells you how good this team is.

Hopkinsville plays Wayne tomorrow. If Wayne wins I'll be sold on mercer being the best team in the state.

Did Hoptown play tonight? That seems like a tough call for Wayne to play Mercer and Htown back to back.

Hoptown beat Madison central at Madison central by 6. Was a 14 point game at one point if I'm not mistaken.

we will certainly have to shoot better to win against really good teams. When you go 3 for 26 from three point range, you are not going to win many. We played some really good teams in the Smokey Mtn Classic and have not shot the ball well since then. You will not see Blevins miss like that too many times. What looks like a bad shot for him, he usually makes those. We got very tired the last quarter, and Hager wore us out driving the ball, but if we get our shooting back, and different region referees that will call that off arm pushing, may be a tighter game in tournament.

Wayne shot 22/78 from the field. Shots just didn't fall tonight. WC/Hoptown game is at Southwestern.

This is a win Mercer needed to prove their case for No.1 in the state. Well done.

Mercer is a very very good team. Many weapons. Wayne shot the ball as bad as I have seen a Cardinal team shoot in years. I will agree that I also seen that the refs gave Wayne no help at all tonight( dont think it would have mattered given how bad they shot it) but this ref crew needs to be checked. Bottoms is not even a sniff of the ref his dad was. Nobody came to see him ref.

So 12th Region refs are screwing Wayne Co? At Wayne Co.??

Going to catch the Titans at Anderson tomorrow night. Hopefully there won't be any tired legs. Looking forward to seeing how they come out. Anderson is a tough team to figure out. I would bet they give my Titans all they want! Should be fun
