Final from the 10th Region All-A. Brossart vs. Paris in the finals.

Mustangs advance to Saturday night's finals vs Paris at 8pm in the Igloo.

Not our best effort in the first half, turning the ball over 9 times and allowing the Jackets 14 points in the second period.

Jackson Crawford put up 13 of his game-high 14 in the first half.

The Mustangs limited the Jackets to 10 points in the second half as we drew off to the 27 point win.

Junior Bryce Kremer scored a career-high 12 points. John Ridder took 3 charges to bring his season total to 15, and point guard Logan Schultz pulled down 7 rebounds.

The Mustangs were woeful from beyond the arc, hitting on only 2 of 10 from beyond the stripe, but capitalized from the free-throw line, knocking down 23 of 30 on the night, and 13 of 14 in the fourth quarter.

Trent Letcher led the Jackets with 10 points.

The Mustangs improve to 13-3 on the season.

13 of 14 in 4 th qtr repeat is Championship basketball. Go Mustangs.

If Brossart struggled with Nicholas County's physcallity, what's Paris gonna do to them?

Very physical game indeed. The Blue Jackets gave a great effort on the defesive side just could not knock down shots. Had several good looks. The first quarter for both schools was just flat out sloppy. Several missed shots and turnovers. Nicholas never gave up, it was a 8 point game at the half. I feel the scrappiness of Nicholas Co was starting to get in the heads of the Brossart players. Brossart was making very uncharacteristic plays (intentional fouls, careless passes, excessive jawing with the other team).

One thing I take from this one is Saturday night shouls be a good one, and like the Paris/Augusta game the team who dictates the tempo should prevail. Brossart does have some thing to work on before Saturday night though. If the team that shows up Saturday that played last night then Paris will be going to Frankfort will this game by double digits, but if Brossart gets everything straightened out and can play a physical style of basketball then they got a chance.

If Brossart struggled with Nicholas County's physcallity, what's Paris gonna do to them?

Good to know a 27 point victory is considered struggling. Both teams shot poorly, which is not the norm for Brossart. They were 2-10 from behind the arc and all were good looks. Brossart held leading scorer and big strong man Barnett to about 4 points. Lot's a chest bumps by The Jackets and I think Brossart showed a little toughness when they needed too. I agree they need to watch it and not let it get to them. I've seen them play a lot better and will probably need to play their game in order to beat Paris this Saturday. Good luck to the Stangs!
