Augusta senior Connor Maddox scored his 1,500th point in the Panthers' win today over St. Patrick in the 10th region All A Classic quarterfinals. Much credit is deserved by Maddox for the hard work he's put in over the years to improve his game each season. Furthermore he played two seasons with Brent Bach who dropped in 2,600 plus of his own. Depending on how long Augusta's season lasts, Maddox could finish 4th or maybe 3rd on Augusta's all time scoring list. His work ethic is going to make some coach at the next level very happy.

Awesome player and obvious work ethic. Not to take anything away from this great accomplishment, but thought the in-game announcement was not timely. Right after he had hit the first of two and Panthers up by 7 with under 1:00 to go with Saints in midst of great comeback. To Conner's credit he was too focused to be distracted and he buried the second. Way to go Conner, it's been enjoyable watching your progress and play.

Fine young man who works as hard as anybody. Deserves the accolades and He'll get a chance at the next level.
