Camels healthy and hitting on all cylinders will win this one by 10 or more. Also, how much will this emotional rivalry game take out of BB night before All A game on Saturday night?

Code teams will fight every game to the end. This game could be epic and either team could win; however a Brossart loss to Camels (pre-season #1 in 10th and now rounding into form) will not be devastating. Actually, if a competitive loss, it is a building block as the Mustangs move up and through the 10th Region field.

Don't forget they have a clear path to All A Championship game with an easy game and plenty of rest/prep time before meeting (Paris/Bracken/Augusta).

Yes, BB's game Saturday night, without insulting the young men who are working hard and trying to become more experienced and each one's talents developed by the staff from Robertson County, will require a less than rested BB team.

This is one of the biggest rivalries around. Regional atmosphere in Jan. Get there early for a good seat.

Maybe a better question for Campbell Co. fans, does a loss to the Mustangs totally dis rail the Camels recovery and make them fragile going against Newcath the next night?

A loss to the Mustangs at home would definitely not be a confidence builder. However, Camels are all healthy and playing team ball and a rivalry win against a district opponent could give them that hunger and determination to up their game and pick up a signature win in the Turner Classic.

I would generally agree with this. However, it is not a home game. Mustangs will be wearing white and half the gym will be cheering on Brossart.

Hope to get there by end of Freshman game.

Don't think we should over analyze too much on the Campbell side. The team has been building, growing, adapting and improving all season. They will likely have a few more losses before tournament. But the trajectory the team is on is great. A loss here would not derail months of progress especially given the rivalry and such.

With that said, I totally expect Camels to win. By 15-20. They are playing well and getting it done together.

Sorry about that I knew where the game was being played.:thumb:
