Specifically what areas/services were you instructed to lie about?

I'd like to know as well.

Available bandwidth. Faulty equipment and existing known issues. If we were installing service and we new it would not perform to standard we were told that we were not allowed to discuss that with the customer. Once we have them as a customer and we will handle the issues when they call in for a repair. There are severe saturation and bandwidth problems that they will never admit to you.

Its an all data service so when they are getting say a dos attack they have to close the pipe or the network gets inundated. The chinese are the leading hackers in the world yet Bell bought zte servers and headend equipment even after att and verizon told them not too. Because it was cheap. Not better, but cheap. Their network gets attacked all the time. With that and the inabilaty to deliver on the promised bandwidth you have a constantly crashing inferior plant. Think your data is safe. Bell practically gave them the keys to your home.

They oversell areas that they know will have trouble. If you can only get say 35 meg to your house they will sell you 20 meg hsi. 4tvs and whole home dvr. Now if you have 2tvs on hd and recording a hd show you are pulling 30meg plus your hsi is trying to get 20... Do the math. We were told just put it in. Imagine if all four tvs are on! This is their Fiber service over copper, but the call it fiber service. True fiber is a bit different but still has its issues since they dropped the rf platform for the all data service. (Iptv)

My modem would pull 100 crcs a week and 100,000 fecs in the same time period. Those are errors. Anytime I tried to watch a sporting event their multicast ( used to save bandwidth by merging customers on the same channel) would act up and all I got was freezing. There is no fix for this. Some areas seemed to be ok. But if you get this service and have problems out of the gate, drop it and run.
