I voted as if I were an AD of a school and had a coach do that ... I would feel that a game suspension would be my choice (if that).... along with a Very To the Point "Matter of Fact / Non Negotiable" statement .... Anything, anything else at all and you're out. Now, that's with a coach with a clean record with the program, no other embarrassments that may reflect on the school. Pitino has before this season had the "asst. coach / recruits / call girl" scandal / accusations. Now maybe he didn't know as he claims but if he didn't then he has lost control of his program, that's jmo and nothing else.

Now, these are my personal thoughts on Pitino's "gesture" .....Rick Pitino can coach wherever he wants. That’s his right. Kentucky fans can boo whomever they want. That’s their right. Rick Pitino’s behavior on Saturday was childish and beneath him, it really surprised me from him. I fully realize that U.K. / U.L. is the hottest rivalry in sports and UK. fans were probably yelling some pretty rough things at him but that's no excuse. Pitino brought all the negative focus on himself. As far as this U.K. fans, he’s an opposing coach. If the Louisville/Kentucky rivalry is too much for him to handle, perhaps it’s time to step down as the Cardinals head coach.

On behalf of my part in the Big Blue Nation, we Thank You for your service, Rick Pitino. Coach, You did amazing work in Lexington and returned the Wildcats to their former glory. As a thank you, You’ve Got a Banner in Rupp Arena. That’s it.

Coach Pitino ....As for arrogant, "being cute" statement about you were just putting up a "we're #1 finger" ...you don’t get a pass on being a Narcissistic jerk.

Jurich gave him a raise and contract extension after the Karen Sypher fiasco. I think he just yawned after the flip off.

I know...now just think if he had murdered someone...maybe he would have gotten a lifetime contract like LeBron just did from Nike.:lol2:

Everything is based on circumstance, but in a vacuum I would levy a fine.
