Cousins has been on fire but not sure what he was thinking on the final play of the first half.

 

That was one of the craziest endings I've seen. Why did Philadelphia take a timeout? Why did he take a knee? So strange.

Jay Gruden never seemed to be liked here in Cincy and people questioned him as a coach. However during his time in Cincy his offense got better each year and was a top 10 offense his last year. Then he goes to Washington and realizes their highest paid player who the owner loves sucks, and basically puts his job on the line by not playing him and now in his second year he has his team in the playoffs.

 

The Redskins honestly look a lot like the Bengals in Daltons first two years. Not really beating any good teams but beating the teams they are suppose to beat and make the playoffs. Like him or not I think Jay Gruden has shown he is a better coach than people wanted to give him credit for. Not saying he is great but better than people thought.

I will admit FC that Gruden is doing better in Washington than I thought he would. Being in a pathetic division helps but he has them moving in the right direction.

Total brain cramp by Cousins. I think Philly took the timeout to get the D set. The penalty on Philly for kicking the ball away stopped the clock. I think everyone including Cousins thought the clock was going to start when the ball was set but the ref came in to tell him it would not. Then Philly took the timeout. Cousins did not have to spike the ball. Either kick the FG or run a play. He was thinking spike the ball but his body took a knee...

The Skins are not very good imo. Quick exit in the playoffs wouldn't surprise me.

 

As we seen today its not a for sure thing that you win even when you play bad teams. Washington hasn't beaten a good team this year but has beaten teams they are suppose to. Are they a very good team nope. Are they a better team than people thought? Yep.

 

I agree they will probably be knocked out in first round because they probably will be playing the Seahawks.

It can happen, Carolina won a game on the road as,a bad team.

 

I didn't say it was impossible. I just don't expect them to do much.
