One of my niece's good friends is 2013 NDA grad Olivia Voskuhl. She is still playing at Cleveland State. Took a redshirt last year due to injury. Average 10 PPG so far this year.

Ally Mayhaus from Holy Cross in Covington, KY is starting at Bellarmine

 

Liza Tibbs from Dixie Heights just came back from an early season injury and is beginning to log some minutes off the bench for Bellarmine.

Lauren Tibbs (2011 Scott HS) graduated from Marquette University in the spring and is playing her final year at Bowling Green State University while she works on her Masters. She is starting and is their leading scorer and rebounder.

Wow! I hope this as great a story as it sounds. After 4 years of "eh" stats at Marquette, being "the" player at BG is so cool. I never saw Lauren play in high school, but was honored to see her a couple of times when she came back to town to play UC and Xavier. Was so impressed with this young woman's energy and hustle. When i talked briefly with her, was even more impressed by her as a person. I am sure she is bringing that same winning attitude and personality to her teammates. Papa must be very proud, and BGSU got a steal!

Daijai Ruffin (SHA 2014) is having an awesome year as a redshirt freshman at UT Martin. They play the U of L Cardinals today at the YUM center.

Thanks! Lauren had a great experience at Marquette. She played in close to 90 games and played her role without complaint. She loves BGSU and has found a great place to finish a fabulous basketball career with a wonderful degree from MU and will finish her masters at BGSU. Very blessed!!!!

Her undergraduate degree from Marquette was an Advertising major and Graphic Design minor. Her graduate degree from BGSU will be in Mass/Media Communications. She wants to pursue the Graphic Design side of Marketing/Advertising. She is extremely artistic and creative.
