GRC lead after the 1st, halftime and 3rd quarters. The 4th Quarter at one point NL had out scored the Cards 16-4. GRC had no answer for Broughton who had 18 points at the half. Hope to have stats in a few.

Seems like GRC is continuing the trend they've shown the last few years of losing a lot of close games. They just don't seem to be able to close out the tight ones to come away with a win.

Too many turnovers in the 2nd half for the Cardinals. Having Cornelius pick up his 4th foul (which was a lame call) didn't help either as North Laurel made its comeback with him on the bench.

Saw NL last weekend in Morehead. Nice squad. Broughton is the real deal. Speaks volumes about GRC for leading for most of this one all-be-it a 6 point loss.

North is a really good basketball team but those teams they played in Morehead couldn't play dead in a western.

Yes it does. I was surprised that we led that long and only lost by 6. We were fighting a height advantage at every position but still the Cards rebounded well. When Jenkins gets to 100% this will help as he is a big body that we need against taller teams to compete.
