Who remembers Mother Fletcher's at Myrtle Beach?

Featured Replies

I was too young to partake at the time when we vacationed there in the late 70's early 80's, but I remember always walking by it and hearing music, wondering what went on in there at night. What cased me to remember this? The "guilty pleasures" music post. I remember listening to Ambrosia at the beach and it brought back memories of the old board walk and what MB used to be like. Unfortunately a lot of that is all gone now, including Mother Fletchers.

I do, I do!

Actually had the same issues as you until we took a guys college trip down there and did a little 'shagging'.

I remember the place quite well. Visited MF like 5 years in a row back in the day. Always a good time. I think I actually have a couple of their old plastic mugs still packed away somewhere. The old tank tops I am sure got tossed when they shrunk too much for me to wear. :lol2:

I hate when that happens...:sarcastic:

Didn't they have multi-colored muscle shirts?

Did they rename it "The Doll House". If so, yes I was there.

If so I think that place closed down. If I can remember it looked pretty bad from the outside.
