Not really. The reasoning is two-fold:

 

1) If Louisville manages to win, then we only won because of this; same as when Florida was "disinterested" in the Sugar Bowl a few seasons ago.

 

2) He looks like he could be headed for Houston, which is on UofL's schedule again next year. I'm not thrilled about that at all with Herman apparently back for another year and reloading for a solid season.

I would too with teams just throwing around multi million dollar guaranteed contracts.

Can you blame the kid? I mean I absolutely love football, but baseball is the way to go for any athlete. Longer career, lesser chance of injury, greater opportunity to prove yourself through the minor leagues, and more money in baseball. Outside of just love for the game of football, I'm not sure why any 2 sport athlete would choose football over baseball.

You have to remember too, that these guys were both the number 1 QB's in their classes. Something is definitely up with Kevin Sumlin. Maybe Johnny Manziel made Kevin Sumlin, instead of vice-versa.
