I hope that Coach Simms is given the opportunity. He is a high quality young man with good basketball knowledge.

 

I hope he is not only given the opportunity but the Wildcat faithful do not compare his tenure with Coach Biggs. No 6'8" guard type players in the system (Keaton Belcher), nor any transfers are on the horizon of the quality of Pat Elliott and Jon Elrod. Coach Simms will have success but the pieces on the chessboard are much different.

My understanding there are still 3 teaching positions open in 3 different fields. Of course, Buddy's Language Arts is open.

Yep. ACcording to Site Based minutes from last night, openings in Mathematics, Social Studies and Language Arts. Could wide selection of teaching openings to draw a good pool of candidates but I still hope that Coach Simms be given a chance.

I believe he went somewhere in Georgia.

Where did Jon Elrod originally go to school?

He and his brother Stephen went to Eagles Landing Christian Academy in Henry County, Georgia.

They were in the Pendleton County school system before they went to Georgia. So they actually did not transfer in, they transfered back.
