The opposite is just as true. Long memories prevail as long as it fits someone's agenda.

Is what was said not true about the other instances?

As long as they have legit evidence and a warrant do to so, I'm okay with it.

Is what was said not true about the other instances?

My comment was simply to point out that People will use whatever they can to support their "Agenda". Then sure enough the other side jumps in with a comment like "short memory" as if it's wrong, but yet do something similar to support their own opinion. For example, going back 35 years to use Jimmy Carter as an example of why we shouldn't let Muslims in the country (hence my long memory reference)

What it comes down to is this. When someone disagrees with your (and not you specifically...I mean "your" in a general sense) belief/opinion they have an "agenda". Agendas are someone else's opinion that we don't agree with.

I think in Paris's case 100+ INNOCENT people being slaughtered gives them plenty of agenda to raid mosques or any other house of worship they think might be housing tools of terrorism.

There's not 1 Christian poster on this thread that would not lead a raid on their own church if they knew something was going on that would harm a fellow american.

You're the only one I know that would think a good memory is a bad thing.

True.

That's not what I said....

At least it's not what I meant.

Let's say we will remember whatever we need to remember to support our opinion....
