No, take away the conservative vote Perot received and move it to Bush...bush wins going a way. No Way almost half of Perot voters were voting for Clinton, which is what he would have needed to have picked up if Perot wasn't in that election, to have won.

This backs up what I've been saying for a long time: A lot of Trump's supporters aren't going to vote for anyone unless he's on the ballot. They're obviously not in love with the Republican Party, so to assume they would automatically vote GOP just ain't so.

How many of the 97,000 votes for Nader in Florida do you think Bush and Gore get if he's not running? Gore only lost by 500 votes...I think it's safe to say that if Nader doesn't run that Gore gets a good portion of those votes and thus so wins the election that night.

 

That would mean that Trump would pull roughly 20% (As he's polling around 30% and 2/3 of that would be 20%) of the total vote...if even 4 or 5% of those would have voted for the GOP Candidate without Trump in the election then it sways the election and gives it to your girl.

55 million registered Republicans, so Trump's supporters -- high-end -- would number about 19 million if we multiply 55M x .35. (Likely millions less than that, though, based on number of registered voters who actually bother to cast a ballot.) So we might be looking at 10 million people who number themselves as part of the 68 percent who would support Trump if he went rogue? That sound right?
