Tough for this game to follow the crazy game between Prolific Prep and Huntington Prep...possibly the best high school game I've seen in 5 years.

Graves held onto a small lead through most of the first 3 quarters before the Purples pulled away in the fourth.

 

Taylor was great for BG finishing with 28 I believe. Booker and Jones were also in double figures as the Purples were without Wilson and Carothers.

Add in the fact that Ayers sat most of the first half with foul trouble, and you had a team void of guard play.

I think Carothers is more impactful for depth. At least, that's what he was in the past. Wilson, however, yes, quite impactful. Drbocky and Fant are still away as well.

They were solid, with the exception that they really struggled to rebound, especially in the 4th quarter.

While true, they only crown one basketball champ. And Bowling Green has never won one of those. They could be legends even more than they already are! Could you imagine winning both in a career, let alone same year?
