Mason had 4 players on the bench, Dunaway unable to play and 3 starters fouled out of the game. Wasn't able to attend the game, but was told Simon Kenton shot around 41 free throws in this game. I know one player said they just had a terrible game and couldn't get anything going so I'm sure thats the main reason for the marginal loss, but its also hard to compete with half the team on the bench.

Anytime Mason got the game to single digits the refs got "whistle happy". So yes they did change the game. Anytime Mason Co went over the back it was immediately called, but on the other end when SK went over the back it was never called. Officiating was horrendous IMO, I left after the T on Pig because of how bad of a call it was.

Any win over MC is a good win. Following that up with a win at Gallatin is impressive. Great start to the season.
