kypride
I'm always interested in how much the championship teams throw the football. This year 7 of the teams can really throw the ball and balance their offense. That is up from last season and previous years. The number is passing yards listed on khsaa i'm assuming through 14 games. 1A Beechwood 2579 Pikeville 1478 2A Mayfield 2662 NCC 1271 3A Belfry 567 Lex. Harry Doyle
Some really, really impressive numbers. You better be able to pull the trigger efficiently. By comparison, I did the rushing yards for all twelve. All twelve have rushed for over 2K yards, and half of those have rushed for over 3K, with Belfry going over the 4K mark. I'm not sure how these numbers compare to years past, but thought I'd throw out the other side. Belfry- 4,268 Pikeville- 3,930 Lafayette- 3,844 S. Warren- 3,500 J. Central- 3,462 Beechwood- 3,110 NewCath- 2,597 Mayfield- 2,477 Pulaski- 2,304 Male- 2,274 LexCath- 2,093 Bowling Green- 2,

sportsfan41
Defense wins championships or so they say. Louisville Male gave up 79 while score 637. I think that being stellar at offense and defense wins championships too.

75center
Johnson Central below South Warren holy moly! Less than 10 yards a game total offense difference between the two. I would not have expected that.
