Maybe there's more to it. I can't imagine a school canceling a game for THEIR team just to rent out the gym to another school. Must be more to the story.

Not that simple. I get NCC's varsity game maybe bumping the frosh due to a scheduling issue. That's life on the frosh team. But to say "sorry boys - we've got a school willing to pay us..." is a bit much.

 

Why should NCC re-schedule? Why couldn't they find a date that works for HHS and SHA? Why not move the game to SHA?

How should frosh parents feel?

 

They should be irate, imo.

NCC frosh boys game is cancelled due to the Highlands' JV & varsity girls' games? That's, uhh, interesting.

Talk about serving up a softball to ya, your days playing with Butler's can't compare to how far you hit that one. LOL

It's all good. I believe schools have always helped out each other when a gym floor was unplayable. I think Holmes has used NCC before when water damaged their floor and NCC used Holmes football field in the past when Newport's was unplayable.

SH hits a three at the buzzer to go up 26-18 at half. Good game so far. Little sloppy on both offensive ends. Probably from being early in the season and two good defenses. SH hitting the open threes when available and HHS is not far. Should be an exciting second half.
