Final from consolation bracket in the Advocare Invitational in Orlando.

Ouch. Who knew that success could be so... Vleeting.

Sorry about that. But without Van Vleet in the lineup, they've been decidedly middling. In the last two weeks, the Shockers have now dropped games to Tulsa, Southern Cal, and Alabama. Not exactly world-beaters themselves.

Why is Van Vleet out?

Something about his hamstring. Don't know the details. They said during the game that they're expecting him to be out until the second week of December.

Stinks for them, but it explains their slow start.

I think Tulsa is pretty good this year. Game was a pick 'em at Tulsa.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — A scary injury overshadowed a second consecutive loss for No. 20 Wichita State.

Wichita State forward Anton Grady was hurt during Alabama's 64-60 victory over the Shockers in the consolation round of the AdvoCare Invitational on Friday.

The game was delayed with 3:07 left in the second half when Grady fell face-first on the court. He was put on a backboard, taken off on a stretcher and transported to a hospital.

This looked scary bad...ESPN just reported that movement in extremities is limited.
