How is Josh pitching? I heard that he could have pitched for CovCath during the Ninth Region Tournament, but Coach Krumpelbeck wouldn't let him. I am surprised that he is still playing summer baseball, as isn't he going to be the CovCath starting QB this season.

 

Is the below game still on for Tuesday, and who will they be playing? Is the field location, the same as where they have the Lions Festival each year?

Josh has thrown a couple innings, but his finger is swollen, so he hasn't pitched much lately. And yes the game is still on. Its at 10:00 at Villa

^^ I know the schedule says 1200, but I am pretty sure they moved the time because Ft Mitchell is having a 4th of July parade, and the players are going to be in it. And since the Colonels have 4 players, and most of The Lions play, and Bob coaches them, they want them to make it.

So then 10am at Villa correct!! Good, I can then eat lunch at the Good Sister of Notre Dame summer festival at the Heights (NDA Park Hills), then catch the World Cup match between Italy vs Germany at 3pm........

 

This will work out great.... Watching a good baseball game, then eating some good food and spending a few dollars for a very good cause, and then watching the World Cup while drinking a few German Beers..... What more could an oldguy want? :thumb:

And thats just the last half of the season. :lol: I know most of them dont mind to play that much, they are just getting ready to play college ball.

Not really much of a game today (many, many runs vs no runs, not even close) playing a team of mostly 15/16 years olds, but it was nice seeing a lot of the parents that I know. The young men from the Colonels were tagging the ball pretty good and Sawyer tagged one impressively over the left field fence. Andrew (love that kids swing) is still the hitting machine, and Parrot still impresses me every time I see him play....He will be a good one next year for SK..... Good luck to the players and parents of the team for the rest of the season....

Said hi to Ben's mom and dad but didn't really talk baseball, and Shanks looked good, but against the team they were playing, well they had better looked good or Walt would have had a cow I am sure....

The Lions will be good, just have to give them about another year or so.

Lions actually just won the Gatlinburg tournament they played in this past weekend
