November 19, 201510 yr ... Germans didn't come over here and try to turn America into Germany. They didn't petition colleges out in California to take down American flags in classrooms, they didn't go into restaurants and demand them to stop selling pork, they didn't invent political correctness. They respected America, got jobs, paid taxes and lived the American dream.

I'm no Democrat, but I would guess that lasts about 1 election cycle and perhaps 2. American voters are fickle and will move on to the next issue easily. This is assuming another attack doesn't come under GOP watch. Then things might move more quickly. Democrats certainly don't have the magic bullet to stop terrorism, but Republicans don't either, despite how many bullets they stockpile.
