Is the Eastern Semi-State the consolation bracket?

Is any team from the East legitimately capable of winning the Title?

If you flipped Danville or NexCath into the place of any of the 4 teams who lost in Round 2 are they still playing?

I think Danville has a shot at winning 2A. I don't think they will, but I think they have a puncher's chance.

I think they have MORE than a punchers chance.

You could be right. :thumb:

Anchor Down.

Danville looks good, and I would never count out NCC either. 6 teams have a legitimate shot at the title. Who wants it more? The homer in me is taking Mayfield.

It's like the Sugar & Orange Bowls out in the west this week... In the east you have the Outback and Gator Bowls. Good bowls but not BCS worthy...

Let's get real, nobody in the East is winning 2A. PERIOD!

Whoever wins next week in the West wil be 2A Champions!

To specifically answer your post I think you could flip Danville or NCC with Murray and they would have had a good shot at a win. Other than that it's a stretch.

I hope the team that wins from the West thinks this as well, because if they do Danville will beat them in the finals.
