Barring a win against North Laurel this week, I think Pulaski WANTS Highlands. They have given PC their share of beatings in the past. The Maroons will embrace that opportunity with authority if they're fortunate enough to meet them next week. It will be a statement game for Coach Hines and company. Knowing most of them, they'll have a chip on their shoulder, no doubt. It will be personal.

To my knowledge they have only played once in their history in 2009, that may have been one of the all time great Highlands teams, would like to hear from some Bluebird fans on that.

Not gonna happen. PC will not look past North Laurel. That's the team on the list. IF the Maroons should happen to win, they will look to the next team on the list. As any great team knows, you overlook NO ONE!

I'd be willing to bet the game a few years ago never get's mentioned if they end up being matched up with the bluebirds in the semi-finals. Now, as fans, we tend to look ahead to the next game. But players look at the task at hand. Coaches preach it week in and week out. The only team that matters to the PC coaches and players is North Laurel.

If you go back to last year until now there were a lot of posters down playing their championship and their chance of repeating this season.

 

Granted the mediocrity of some teams this season has quieted a few of them.

Pulaski will win easily. The most interesting thing about this game will be how long it takes Pulaski's beat reporter to bring up the "spygate" incident from 2009 in his preview article.
