Anyone going to watch any of the Blue Chip camp in Georgetown this week?

I might check it out later in the week, doesnt sound all that competive to me overall, hear the Elliot county team is there together

How are they doing?

Thier first game they got beat, and to my understanding was hurt by furture foe Austin Robinson. They blew an 18 point lead.

I forgot to mention, they are playing without 6-4 8th grader Timmy Knipp who has been giving a huge boost off the bench. He was making up for alot of the 3-point shooting that was missing without Evan Faulkner, shooting well over 50%. Timmy is playing in the Jr. Blue Chip.

They only lost that game by one! They also beat avery good team that consisted of Jon Vanhoose(russell), Tyler Portwood(scott co.), Jordan Smart(lexington catholic), Ben Cochran, Justin Walker, Zach Messer etc.

Your right ky, but they did add a 6'5 boy from South Oldham I beleive. I dont have any detials and not even sure thats where he is from, but I think I'm right on the school. And to my understanding, he is a solid player.

Yeah! He was with them in the first game too. Rotation hurt them in first game . in the last set they ended up with all big men and no guards in the game, but thats th breaks!!!

You are right it is South Oldham, and he is a decent player, but i wouldn't trade Greene or Gilliam for him the way they played today!!

Iagree with you RAO9 Elliott is definately missing Evan. Especially his defense. Not saying that they aint missing his scoring and reboarding but him and Ethan together are monster's on defense. Elliott just dropped another close one. They are really playing well right now and playing everyone really close. Drop Evan back in the mix in a few weeks and things could get real interesting!!!!!!!!!

You tell me smart guy!!!!!!!!!!!! When you are young and "dumb" a few week's would probably mean 2 or 3! When a person is older and wiser and time seem's to almost fly a few week's could even be as much as 52! Which technically mean's you would have to answer those question's yourself seeing as noone but you could know the shortness or the length of your opinion of a "few" week's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dancingpa :lol: :laugh: :banana: :jump: :thumb:

The kids from Elliott are playing very well right now. Their team did add the boy from S Oldham & he has helped but has hurt them late in games as he tries to play gaurd way to much. Three kids are really stepping up & are playing the best on the team at this time.Tyler Maynard, Greene & Dustin Gilliam which is exactly what you need when you have a player like Evan out. Maynard playing a lot of point & doing a good job & busting 3's @ top of key if they do not come out on him.Greene & Gilliam are just Bulls under the boards and have really stepped up with some offensive production & playing good D.

You also forgot to mention that going into this camp Tyler Maynard was 19 of his last 33(57%) from beyond the arc and last night he scored 30+ while making 7 3's. He is looking really good along with Greene and Gilliam.
