November 11, 201510 yr Goal is to increase movement and decrease number of whistles. While we've all heard/seen them call it tight early and then go back to normal officials are being told this year that their post-season spots will be determined by how well they stick to the NCAA guidelines.
November 11, 201510 yr Author NCAA going to the high school rule that there is NEVER a basket counted when there is a player control/"charge" foul. Removes the judgement from the official regarding the ball being released before or after contact.
November 11, 201510 yr Author A player can be charged with a T if it was determined during review that he faked being fouled.
November 11, 201510 yr Author A bench-called TO within 30 seconds of a media TO becomes a media TO. Nice.
November 11, 201510 yr A bench-called TO within 30 seconds of a media TO becomes a media TO. Nice. That is a good one.

November 11, 201510 yr A player can be charged with a T if it was determined during review that he faked being fouled. Like this one also.
November 11, 201510 yr A player can be charged with a T if it was determined during review that he faked being fouled. Hasn't that always been the case? November 11, 201510 yr NCAA is going to have to consistently enforce their rules regardless of what they are or you'll never see scoring improved! Seems that when officials stopped enforcing the handcheck rule, offense really suffered, then palming the ball was allowed to level the playing field, which it has not!
November 11, 201510 yr A bench-called TO within 30 seconds of a media TO becomes a media TO. Nice. Nothing worse than going to the bathroom during a timeout, only to come back and have another timeout. Should honestly be a minute within media TO, but will certainly settle for 30 seconds. Great change.
November 11, 201510 yr Author I hope to see officials not penalize players who have proper defensive positioning when an offensive player initiates contact. With that said, very few players have the proper positioning that they think they do.
November 11, 201510 yr So, the ball is dead and a coach can call a TO after a made basket clears the cylinder and before the inbounder gets possession of the ball? So the ball can be dead while the clock is running? Confusing.
