FSU is in one of those dangerous situations where they've outplayed Clemson by and large, but don't have a big lead to show for it (and pending this last series of the half could have none). That has happened to them more than once this season. You have to be mindful of the terrible second half against Georgia Tech as well. It's a two half game.

As I mentioned in another thread, Clemson always has a key game that they can't lose that they lose. Circle the biggest Conf or Non-Conf game each year and in most cases they will lose it.

Deshaun Watson just did FSU a HUGE favor, clocking it on 3rd and 3 (when they had a timeout), not realizing the situation. The offense was humming too. Unless FSU does something crazy in one direction or the other, it's going to be 10-6 FSU at the half.

Watson messed up big time! 10 to 6 halftime. FSU is a second half team. Cook should take the game over.

I think it's been proven that Maguire's production last week was a result of an atrocious opponent. He looks exactly the same as he did last year against Clemson. Golson may not be any better, but Maguire is no cure-all.

Jimbo has made a mistake IMO by doing so many first down runs lately. They've spend a lot of time in second and third and long.

Aguayo slips it in the left upright, and it is 13-13 with 6:15 left in the 3rd. Good to respond to the score - wish it was a TD.

 

It makes me sad that Aguayo is not automatic anymore. I can't figure out why he is not nearly as reliable. Even this kick made my heart jump.
