Scott 33 Rowan County 26

I have felt Scott has been a little over rated all season long and this game tends to show that to be true. But even I am surprised by how close this game was

When it's all said done Nelson Perrin #7 maybe the best athlete to have ever walked the hallways at Scott

I told folks last year when he was just a Freshman that when he graduates he will have been the best football player in Scotts history. I see nothing to change that opinion. The young man is a special talent.

Scored on a triple reverse pass . They threw a lot of gadgets at the Eagles . They had a lot of success with misdirection and counters and motto mention #45 for Rowan was big and ran hard .

And they used all four downs to get the 1st down many times. Their coaches did a tremendous job in game planning. They did a good job at keeping Scott's Offense off the field by pounding the running attack. They were truly 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Rowan would have 10-15 play drives eating up 8 mins on the clock and Scott would have 3-5 play drives eating up 2 minutes on the clock. Scott outgained Rowan on the ground and in the air while I bet Rowan held a 2-1 time of possession advantage. Great coaching job by the Rowan Cty staff.

Scott over rated, really? Well look at their record for the year. Maybe there are a lot of people on this forum that are just proud of how far this team has come this season...whether they win by 20 points or by 1. GO EAGLES!!!!!

Nice effort tonight by the Vikes. Sad to see them come up short but definitely nothing to hang their heads about. You took a top 10 team in their respective class to the wire on the road when no one gave you a chance. You represent the district well.

This team needs to show some good sportsmanship. When you have players refusing to shake hands at the end of the game and yelling profanity to Scott parents. That's a real class act...You might want to rephrase how they represent their district well.

Well may statement of them representing the district well was solely based on their competitiveness in the game. So I stand by my statement. As to the other stuff, I was not there, so I can't comment on it but I will say this. It was a heart breaking loss to a team that wasn't given a chance, and it wouldn't be the first time kids or parents for that matter said things or did things they normally wouldn't do. It's hard to be positive or not show frustration after such a loss. Anyone who says otherwise is just kidding there self.

I'm glad to see he played in this game. Against SK he got hit pretty hard. Probably one of the hardest hits I ever seen. Tough kid.

Lol, your burning up the threads tonight. Do you have any substance to your claims? Personally I can't see Rowan doing what you claim they did
