I do not know who lit a fire in Boyles Defense, but I haven't seen them hit as hard and play with that kind of emotion in 4 or 5 years. They hit hard and usually there is 3 to 4 with their hat on the ball carrier everytime. Playing Dunbar has done something to Boyle I haven't seen in a while. They are hitting harder and getting to the ball like I haven't seen all year. And it started last week.

Glad to hear Boyle get a W last night. I am in Florida and made sure to get a flight back on Thursday to see a Central game on Friday. No doubt about it Boyle at Central is going to be a good one!

Well I will throw in my analysis as the losing head coach.

First, I am super proud of our young men for their turnaround this year and buying into a program.

Second, it was an emotional game for our us, our senior captain and starting tailback spent the night in the hospital with 2nd degree burns on his right hand and forearm.

Third, Boyle was just a better team then us on this night. Coach Hester and the defensive staff did an excellent job neutralizing our team speed by playing off in their quarters coverage. They forced us to put together long drives and our mistakes offensively stalled us out several times.

 

Hats off to Boyle County! Great team and great place to play. Wish we could have made the 4th quarter more exciting for everyone!

 

Hats off to you coach. You guys were great this year and I could see Waggner taking it to the next level next year. Class act coach and school!

Does anyone know what happened with #9 for Waggener and why he not only left the game but left the field all together and never came back? It happened early in the 4th quarter.

 

I'm sure you heard about it at Meet the Rebels on Saturday.
