Best QB In Western Kentucky

Featured Replies

Kid from hoptown has put up.some impressive numbers as had the Caldwell qb. I think the hhs qb has a more complete package

Cash Jones

I havent got a chance to see Cash Jones, but i dont know how you could go wrong with Ray Zuebrer from Owensboro Catholic. Of course, the playoffs will make him or break him in the eyes of many. Juniors Adam Bouchard(Daviess County) and Rex Henderson(Butler County) both have the looks of guys who could play at the next level. Keep your eye on Ohio County Sophomore Heath Simmons too. He doesnt a ton around him but he has great size and ability.

Let's see what kind of numbers Johnson (Hoptown) puts up against better competition. He is an athlete but he is young and has a lot of maturing to do.

Cash Jones and Zuebrer are both really good. I haven't seen Simmons play yet.

Johnson has put up some great numbers for a 10th grader and will only get better, the kid at Caldwell has been a surprise and he also has done real well, do not know much about any of the QB's in the boro.

Several good ones. Not one that just leaps out from the rest of the group. They all have different aspects of their game that make them good. I expect Langhi to be the new Sindelar but he's not there yet.

Cash Jones

57 yards and pick 6 vs B.G. His own coaches don't trust him against a top defense.

I don't see why playoffs make or break Ray Zuberer. The Bouchard kid and Henderson kid is good, but I think those kids are juniors with a senior laden teams. What will Bouchard do without Stratton next year and McEuen?

Henderson will face the same D in Owensboro Catholic next year. Minus Boarman, but Catholic always has a freshmen or Sophmore backer waiting. Just like Deveraux Reed when Osborne left, Just like Blair when Reed left.

Cash had a bad game last week. So what.

So, he's not a better qb than Ray Zuberer that's what.

I respect your opinion but don't lay the kid out. These are kids we are talking about. We should all be positive about them.

Stating facts to back up an argument is not laying a kid out. We are in a thread trying to separate the best qb in western ky from other good players. That's how you do it. Numbers, performance, measurables, competition, eye test. I have seen every kid in this discussion in person or on film or both.

Johnson out passed him and ran for more TD's and after Catlett leaves he will not have any good receivers. Hoptown is on the way up and I would not be surprised if several players try to go there after the season is over as things are not good at CCHS per several players and parents.

Ryan Mathis (freshman) graves county, is a great qb & only gonna get better..
