Best QB In Western Kentucky

Featured Replies

I don't see why playoffs make or break Ray Zuberer. The Bouchard kid and Henderson kid is good, but I think those kids are juniors with a senior laden teams. What will Bouchard do without Stratton next year and McEuen?

Henderson will face the same D in Owensboro Catholic next year. Minus Boarman, but Catholic always has a freshmen or Sophmore backer waiting. Just like Deveraux Reed when Osborne left, Just like Blair when Reed left.

I guess I worded that kind of wrong. Ray is the best QB in Western KY IMO. I just know that a lot of people don't give him the credit he deserves because of the strength of schedule(playing that district is no ones fault, just have to do it). A lot of people are looking for that Murray game as a measuring stick for Catholic in general. I think for him to get his due with many, he's going to need to win that ballgame.

Henderson and Bouchard are 2nd to Ray in my book. Just guys I threw out there that I enjoyed watching. Henderson is a great overall talent, but the strength of schedule issue is even larger for him. Vs Catholic and Ray, he did virtually nothing until the JV entered. Bouchard had 35 yards vs Henderson. I like both kids to be able to play in college but when a challenge comes along you either have to rise to it or you get questioned. No doubt.

Best QB in WKY is Zuberer from Owensboro Catholic hands down. To say Johnson out pass Langhi is a stretch to say the least. Langhi has thrown for more yards but less touchdowns than Johnson. But look at the competition who's playing the tuffer schedule and who has to throw the ball in the red zone in order to put points on the board. Langhi is completing over 60% of his passes and has gone over 2,000 yards for the second year in a roll.. That's not to bad if you ask most. Now I like the Johnson kid from Hoptown he's for real. He's put the tigers on his back and their rolling pretty good. I hope he continues to get better and look forward to watching him on the basketball court this season. Oh, last night County started 2 sophomore's at receiver and a sophomore RB. I think the future looks pretty good and if anybody wants to transfer so be it. Christian beaten Hoptown last 9 out 10 years. They also won the Freshmen, JV and the 8th grade beat em by 30. I think county will be ok!

Neither one played a tough schedule, Hoptown may be a little tougher but CCHS never beat anyone any good but Hoptown. Hoptown beat Graves by a larger score than Cchs did. HOPTOWN might have beat county but had a bad night by the officials so it is not much difference in the two teams. Johnson has better numbers between similar opponents so I would give him the nod. County never impressed me this year with their effort or game plan except for the Hoptown game. Just did not play hard for some reason

So, he's not a better qb than Ray Zuberer that's what.

Zuberer hasn't played BGs defense either. Doubt he'd do any better against the Purples secondary.. I think the kids good, his #s are great, however, OB Catholic's offensive philosophy is an air raid offense.. The last 5 OB Cath QBs put up great passing #s also, so, you have to wonder if he's not the benefactor of his schools offensive philosophy.. The schedule they play also doesn't give him too many opportunities to showcase his skills against top notch defenses..One or two decent opponents a year is weak and imo, why they get exposed in the playoffs every year..
