LexCath's Great Year

Featured Replies

I am not alleging any recruiting violations by any school just stating the fact that privates and publics get kids that decide to go to school together and this occurs at all schools.

I should have known better in starting this thread. What always starts out as a positive affirming thread seems to deteriorate rather quickly by the intervention of those who have an axe to grind. Back to my original thoughts: When was the least time that this type of accomplishment happened?

Before anything gets started:

4. No school-specific recruiting comments or allegations of KHSAA rules violations by any school, coach, or player are allowed. No talking about where any player lives, has lived, or where they are from in a recruiting context. This is not the place to report KHSAA violations. Feel free to contact www.khsaa.org to report such violations, but do not discuss violations here.

TRUTH HURTS.

I am not talking anything from Catholic, but they are a private school and I look at them different cause of that.

So what are you implying...

Lexington Catholic won championships in girls basketball, AAA football and baseball this year. Does it happen often that a school wins a trifecta in a single year?
Interesting question and I would be curious, if anyone knows the answer.

Most schools should strive for the success that Lex. Catholic had, both in the boys and girls programs. These athletes, coaches and administrators, should be commended for their role.

In the end, the games are decided on the field of play and Lex. Catholic has had an outstanding year. Well done....:thumb:

I am happy for the kids. Its the School Administration and everyone else who takes credit for the accomplishments that bothers me. I don't think the Athletic Department at Lex Cath is on the up and up. If so, they wouldn't have been penalized by the KHSAA this year and there wouldn't be so many allegations against them. They will enjoy their championship whether or not it was legit or not. That is the character that is instilled in them from the top at Lexington Catholic. "Win Baby" thats all that matters.

Im just gonna ask once, what isn't legit about this championship or even the football or girls basketball one? Heck, or even the Girl's Soccer runner-up since that team missed a championship only by losing a shoot out? Or club lacrosse?

(Apologies Swamp Thang, im not meaning to keep this thread off topic, this claim just annoys me)
