The kid sold it to an undercover officer, it's been recorded...pull the kid over 5 minutes later for a "traffic violation", get him out of the car, and then "oh, by the way, your under arrest for selling pot back there in the Hardees parking lot". If the kid had 20 pounds of heroin in his trunk, ok I get the graphic response in that situation...but I don't think the whole scenario should have unfolded the way it did to begin with.

October 30, 201510 yr I get what your saying. But this all ties into my point I've been making on this site for a long time. The war on drugs is dumb. Hey, we agree on something!?! Others have noted (George Carlin?) that the language of the "war on drugs" is wrongheaded. If it is a war, we are the collateral damage. Drugs are bad, and ruin lives. I don't like marijuana, but I guess it should be legal. If you can hold down a job and smoke weed, more power to you I guess.

Exaggerate much? Millions of people resist arrest every year without dying. I think you have read too much cop block.
