Made this statement in a power ranking earlier in the year and was attacked for it. South Warren has done nothing to warrant that ranking. Best win against a depleted Central Hardin? C'mon man...

Here's the problem with you statement. BG is 5-A, McCracken(who beat Mayfield) is 6-A, and Owensboro is 5-A. South Warren is 4-A.

 

My other problem is who gives a crap about polls. High school football has a playoff system.

Thought it was interesting that in this week's Cantrall Ratings for the Entire State that:

 

15 McCracken County 81.5 (Rating)

16 Owensboro 81.0

17 Mayfield 80.7

18 Caldwell County 80.3

 

That's a tight grouping right there! Say what you will about the Cantrall Ratings; they do seem to get more accurate as the year goes on and more data is available to analyze!

 

FYI, BG was 6 at 86.1; and South Warren was 10 at 83.1.

Just thought it was funny this time since I believe the Cantrall rankings are purely computer based.

Since we are on the cusp of the playoffs and know alot more about the teams now, I thought I'd ask for your take 1 last time as to how our Western Kentucky Teams look at going for a possible sweep of the 6 State Championships:

I like BG,SW, and mayfield all have good chance of winning state and I will be pulling for the boyz from the ville since that's were I played many moon ago
