Wow. What a fantastic season for the lady Rebels and coach Hughes. No surprise as he is a great coach. They will be back even stronger next year

Congrats to the Pandas and the NDA soccer program on their 5th straight Regional title! That is an outstanding accomplishment. Good luck in the State Tournament! PTS!!!!

Question for those in attendance. Did Boone lack of depth/bench have any impact on this game?

Not as big an impact as a certain CR had :(

I am not one to complain but even the guy next to me who's daughter graduated from ND a few yrs back commented to me how Boone was getting hosed by some bad calls! Anyways, they had their chance after cutting it to 2-1 with 16 min left. Just had a lapse by a defender who didnt clear the ball and ND took it away and hit the back of the net. These girls will be back next season hungry to get back to the Regionals and make some noise. Best of luck to the ND girls next week. Stay healthy cuz Club starts in a couple weeks

I don't think so at all. NDA came out quick and had many more chances early on. As the first half went on it seemed like Boone got more control of the ball and I think they had more possession during the last 10 min of the first half.

 

When the second half started it seemed like Boone still had a little more possession than NDA, definitely much more even in terms of chances. I also thought that Boone's back line did a wonderful job of keeping their team in the match, they turned away a couple of good chances that NDA created down the left side late in the second half. What first appeared to be a great chance to play the ball in the box for NDA ended up being no more than a goal kick for Boone on at least a few different occassions.

I was impressed with Boone in this one. Down 2 - 0 and NDA defending they just kept putting the pressure on. Best team won this one but Boone left it all on the field. Congrats on a great season.

I am one of those fans that will keep track of foul counts. 1st half 6 fouls called against each team. 2nd half 6 called against bc and 9 called against nda.

Was impressed with what Boone was able to accomplish with such a small pool of varsity players. Their season should be encouraging for all those schools that don't have 8-10 girls in every grade playing a reasonably high level of club soccer.
