The battle for 2nd place in the district and a home playoff game is on the line Friday night as Rockcastle (3-5) goes to Knox Central (4-4). Who wins and why?

Knox by 2 or 3 TD'S in my opinion.

Loser isn't in a terrible situation - they'll play at East Jessamine in the first round.

Depends on which Knox team shows up, they have been so inconsistent it's hard to say.

This will be only the 2nd game this year that Knox Central will play on their home field but I think that will be enough of an edge to pick up the win.

If we had everyone back that we do now to start the season our record would have been a lot different. If Jarod Robinson makes it back next week which he should then for the first time all year we will be at full health. We have a new QB in Chase McClure at least he has started for us the pass two weeks now an gives us a whole different offense assuming they leave him at QB. Our top running back has been back the last two weeks now and already made his presence known returning two punts for TD ( I know it was Rusell county and clay co but still) our line will be physical as always and our defense still only gives up 100 yards a game on the ground that includes games against great running backs we have held a good running attacks of Garrad, somerset, Wayne to 115 or less a game. Knox should be no different if they can pass then it should be a good game if they aren't able to pass then Rockcastle will win rather easy. Being at Knox I think it will remain close

Wish I was able to make it to this one but my work schedule isn't going to allow it since it's an away game and the folks I'd be going with will probably leave before I get back to Mount Vernon. Ugh
