Which looked like to me as the same play as Townsend scored on. You kick it deep to Smith and he returns 1 or more for long runs. From what I'm told the team has looked for kickers and are still trying trying kids from inside the building. What Lloyd did was play a hard fought game. Any one else that doesn't think so can jump off the band wagon. Many in the stands would be happy to push you off the wagon.

So just to be clear here you are in agreement with everything this coaching staff has done since the start of this year? I have several problems with last nights game I'm just picking the biggest one which just so happen to be what costed the Juggs the game.

I don't see a problem with the offensive play calling but would rather have smith with a couple big returns than give them the ball at the 50 or less every series and for the defensive play calling your defense backs them up on a least 3 series and you change to prevent with the middle of the field wide open not smart . I am in the stands and have been for some time just calling it as I see it

My biggest issue now is something I found out this morning. In the post game speech Coach Neimen (D coordinator) told the kids that he had a plan for this game but didn't want to show his hand until they meet NCC in the playoffs. He specifically said "this game was not the one I was worried about, they can have this win. This win means nothing.". REALLY a district championship and #1 seed means nothing? I giant boost in moral, means nothing? Giving a great Lloyd team a W over a team they haven't beatin in 25 yrs is nothing? IMO you play to win every game! Everyone knows that there is a good chance these teams will meet again but I have a HUGE problem with a coach basically saying we sent you into this game purposely unprepared!

Be happy too. Please be a guy that comes to the game and supports the players coaches school and not one that comes and runs his mouth about everything the coaches and players don't do right. As a fan I see this team (players and coaches) coming together and getting better every week.

I am happy but no were near satisfied. Realistically, this Lloyd team could be undefeated right now; coaching is what has kept these boys from that. I have been very vocal about that since I joined after GC game. To start off the season, I was 100% behind this staff. I slowly watched the wheels fall off at times and this obviously has led to my change of heart. I would never blame or criticize the the boys who give their all and aren't responsible for play calling; thats the coaches. As a fan, and alumni of the school and football program, I have the right to be critical of my juggernauts. I bleed navy and gold and that spills out every time this team loses; especially when one thinks that this upperclass team was raised on winning. Tichenor is once again in the championship game this yr, and that is nothing new. This Sr class was apart of that winning tradition. They are the ones who started it. So these boys only knew how to win before they got into HS. I hope you're not one of those fans at the end of the yr say "well we will get them next yr" cause that's the exact mentality that has been brought to Lloyd in the past few yrs and the main reason this program hasn't taken the perverbial next step.

It was a blanket statement I believe since we tag teamed the thread.

On a side note, did anyone see Jeff Ruby aimlessly walking around by himself last night? He was wearing a Kangol hat backwards with a worn USA Flag leather jacket.

I would caution that it is not guarantee as the #2 or #3 seed that Lloyd and NCC will meet again. Lloyd will have a tough game with HC next week to determine that and an improving WV is in the opposite district. It is no guaranteed that NCC much less Lloyd advances to the Regional Final.

Thanks to nkysports, I was able to watch this game without leaving the family room. Its hard to say either team was better. I felt like Lloyd did have an easier time moving the football, but both teams left me scratching my head. If Lloyd doesn't win the playoff game this year, don't hang your heads Juggs fans. After this year, it will be awhile before Ncc is a contender again.
