Taylor Tolle will be your OPOY.

Wow......direct and confident.......Why? Stats and reasons for those of us that spend more time on the boys' side?

I like Tolle but Morris and even Zoller would have to be ranked higher. 15 of Tolle's goals came against Conner, Dayton, Bellevue and Oneida Baptist....not exactly stellar competition. I'm researching the others now.

While you are researching the SK girls stats compare goals and assists and see if anything jumps out at you?

Meg Martin as DPOY i wouldnt argue but Ansley Davenport had to get votes and if she won it i wouldnt be surprised, i dont know that their is anyone better at that position than her.

84 goals and 83 assists???

Kinda hard to believe that only one goal was scored without an assist on the season.

And it just happened in the WV game. I am sure their coach was pretty ticked off when they had their first unassisted goal of the season. Ruined a perfect stat line.

That is interesting, I saw them play Cooper and #10 had a great individual effort on a goal in the second half of the match. It was not close to having an assist on the play, did it all on her own.

There are only 5 assists that game and they scored 6 goals.

Makes you view the state assist leader board a little differently when you add the overall assist ration (total A / total goals):

Layne Cutler - 27 assists

Bullitt East: 57% A/G

Jordan Stallings - 27

Nelson County: 70% A/G

Annabel Moore - 24 assists

Owensboro Catholic: 100% A/G

Abigail Zoeller - 24 assists

Simon Kenton: 99% A/G

Angie Reyes - 24 assists

Warren Central: 60% A/G

What's more egregious: leaving a player in a blow-out game to pad stats or giving them credit for phantom assists?

And how do you decide who to give a phantom assist to? Closest relative to the ball?

When you say "relative to the ball" do you mean closest by distance or by blood?

Now I don't care who you are - that right there is funny.

I'm pretty sure SK imported the Ballard boys statistician... last year Ballard boys registered assists at an unbelievable 95% clip.
