2018 SS Gage Hughes from Greenup County has committed to the UC Bearcats.

Very solid pickup for the Bearcats, I look for this kids recruiting to grow over the next few years though. Potential is high here and other schools will come calling. Kid will only mature and progress from here. Good looking team coming back for the Musketeers which also have Brody Shoupe committed to Morehead State.

Saw him play hoops at the Greenup County Tournament over the Christmas Holidays.

I'm assuming that such an early commitment simply frees him up to concentrate on his high school career without all of the recruiting distractions???

That was a good game, better if GC would have won. Got beat by a good team, very well coached , 2 really nice players. Good luck to them.
