Injury came late in the 3rd quarter and Fleming being a pass first team was probably affected by the weather as much or more than Russell. The funny thing is, I haven't seen any Russell fan use the weather or the injury as an excuse for why they lost. It always comes from people who weren't there.

What are the tie breakers for a 3way? I know Russell beat West, but if West beats Fleming and Fleming beat West what would be the tiebreaker?

You get 1 point for every win your non-conference opponents have (that you beat). Fleming would not win a 3 way tie-breaker! They better take care of business from here on out if they want to host a playoff game.

Russell has Greenup Ironton Boyd with Raceland remaining. West and Fleming wont have near as many points with their non-district wins.

West would be tied with them at this point in terms of points for non-conference opponent wins. Russell has 8 beating Greenup (4) and Ironton (2) and Boyd (2)

 

West has 8 beating Nicholas (4) Powell (3) and East Carter (1).

 

Things could change with the remaining schedule yes but as of now if West beats Fleming and the tiebreaker happens then I think Russell has to beat Raceland. If I understand what you're saying is the tiebreaker for 3 teams.

Look for Ironton to win 6. Greenup will win 5. Boyd 2-3.

The Raceland game could be huge if certain scenarios play out.

Game will depend on West's perimeter defensive players. Can they set the edge? Help with tackling? Defend the pass? Obviously, no team should rely on their secondary to make tackles, but they have to help and take proper angles. Haven't seen everybody but, Greenup's corners give the best run support of the teams I've seen this year. Dry conditions, West by 10 or less. Wet conditions = toss up.

Comets will win this one. Fleming had a great game plan against Russell in the mud. The game was although decided on one play... the pick six. Comets are a very good football team and are hungry for a home playoff game.
