You do realize you beat Lex Cath without their starting QB. They are a totally different team when he's healthy. I wouldn't use that score as a Cooper/Ryle comparison.

Cath basically without TCA also who only got a few carries to see where he was at.

 

I watched the Ryle Lex Cath game. Their QB would not have made that much of a difference unless he played defense also.

Didn't Lex Cath just beat Madison Central 42-0 last week.

You're clueless. Madison Central is terrible and Lex Cath's QB is a difference maker. And no one was talking about SK. Keep grasping at moral victories on that one.

I just stated a fact that Lex Cath win big against a 4-1 team last week. I don't know how good or bad MC is, they had 4 wins with only 1 loss. So take a break buddy and lighten up.

People said Cooper would lose if they had to depend on Cooper's Qb's arm...he threw 3 TD's, pretty good if you ask me.

 

Another said Cooper would win a close one of they had their starting RB. Well TCA took about 3-4 snaps and that was all. Cooper won big without him.

 

It wouldn't have mattered much whoever played for LC,

Cooper's defense was just that dominating last night.

I'm with you. I have thought since week 2 that would be the most intriguing and interesting game in NKY this season. I think it was clear from the start that SK was the best team in the area, but there seems to be a couple Ryke fans that are

Overlooking Cooper and have their eyes set on SK. Can't do that, they may be surprised and not the good kind.

While Cooper shut out Lex Cath and totally dominated on the defensive side of the ball while beating them by 28. This same Cooper team that also held SK to 6 second half points.

 

I'm sure Ryle coaches and players aren't overlooking Cooper, but some of their fans definitely are.

 

Keep in mind that Ryle had to play against Lex Cath's #1 qb Legend Brumbaugh (sp?) He got hurt the next week I believe. He is a clear difference maker on that team.

Post. Trust me we know about Legend. We also watched the Ryle game on LC awesome HD stream and Legend didn't face a defense like Cooper's and wouldn't have brought a W last night unless he went 40-40 with 5 TD passes because the run game was non existent and he may have got some nice runs in but not enough to make up a 28 point deficit in my opinion.

If he was that much of a difference maker then they would have held onto the lead against Ryle with him and won. He didn't really do much the 2nd half of that game at all.

But no credit to Ryle's D. They have been a 2nd half D just about every game this season. Listen, I give Cooper all the respect in the world. They are stout up front on the O and D lines. Great athletes, very, very dangerous. Nathan Brown is playing great, he's another great athlete. But it kind of sounds like you are looking past Ryle. Trust me, Ryle is not looking past Cooper. The coaches are too good to do that. They are too good to look past George Roger's Clark.

Cooper's D is good, a bunch of ball hawks. They have proven that for the past two years. They were real solid on the WR screens last night. I was hoping that LC would try to take some chances running the ball and trying to get to the edge, but they didn't. I also agree with you, I wouldn't count LC out as well.

"Nothing special" limited SK to 26 points when they've been doubling on other teams. LC wasn't bad last night, Cooper was just better. The defense is limiting offenses to 13.7 points a game.

 

No one on Cooper's team is looking past Ryle, they take it one game at a time. Are they excited for that game? Yes but they aren't looking past them.
