This might be "my heart" talking but I really don't see how we can keep the Mason County girls off this list. Extremely talented and return every single player off the state semi-finalist team this past season. Really think they will do BIG things this year.

Mason is a good team, BUT they got a great draw to make the Final 4 in my opinion, if they draw the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 4th, 1st, 2nd, last year they would of been out first game. I love their hire, he will do a great job. I think Campbell, Scott, Mason could be a war in that region this year. If Mason had (1) big inside to go along with their guards they could of cracked my top 10 list as it was they were one of the teams I mentioned as a sleeper

You could make that argument every year 8th...If you remember last year Etwon was "unbeatable" yet in a one game scenario anything can happen. I know Mason turned many heads lst year during the tourney and obviously earned all the good things being said about them. They will be formidable and I am certain they are a top team this coming season

Didnt say that they were not a good team, just not a top 10 team in my opinion. But if you look at my list, some of the top 10 are in the same region. They had a good showing at the state tourney, and are fun to watch. Just because you make the final 4 doesnt mean you are a top 10 team in the state, just ask Highlands, Holmes, Henry Clay, Bullitt East, Murray, Shelby, Southwestern last year to name a few, they were all good teams just didnt make it to the state tourney. Last years state tourney was a horrible draw for the better teams.

Henderson had a bad draw for sure. They had Ashland first round then male. If they would have got lucky and made final that would have been like a true first round game. Wish they could seed it some how. But on a bright note the best game to watch might have been the high scoring game between male and Henderson and watching brown set the record for most three's in a game.

That same Male team graduated very little that is why I had them at #1, that was an awesome game.. Also you had Mercer vs. E-town, Male vs Mercy, all first round games,

Henderson vs Ashland was a great game also just low scoring.

True...one thing I heard was that Aly Ast should return this season after a knee injury. That would definitely make them a better team. Love her style, good player that plays very hard.
