Any thoughts about who the top ten teams will be at the start of the season?

Unfortunately, Holmes may be a little too high to start. They lost (what most felt was their best player and shooter) to transfer (to an Ohio school). They should still be very good, but I'm not sure top 10 right now. Hopefully they prove me wrong. But time will tell.

Lost 3 games all of last season, all 3 to state champion, only lost 1 player, they are really good

Sacred Heart, Murray, Graves, Southwestern, Simon, Shelby, Mason, Campbell, Ashland, East Carter, Henry Clay, all in can be there by the end of the season, I am sure there are more, just naming some strong teams, please someone else add what I am leaving out, have to be someone is Allen Co Scottsville region to come on, Harlan Ind,

They lost much more than one player. They had some very good seniors and lost a very good transfer. They will be top 10 still but they lost more than one player.

You shouldn't list so many 9th region teams.

If you read the post that is why I asked people to add some teams, I have no idea what the 9th region lost except for Holy Cross, only top 10 team I think for sure is Holmes though against my original top 10, Highlands had a great team last year, dont know what they lost, and I heard Ryle should be good,

The only problem with Ryle is that "they should be good" going on 3 or 4 years now.

Who only lost one player? If you're talking about Holmes, they graduated 2-3 as well. And then lost their best returning player. I said they will be good, but not too 10 right now and much easier to guard now that they lost their best outside threat.

HHS lost two of their top 8 to graduation. Should be good again, but will need depth to step up. Really good freshman class. Have to see how it all plays out.

HC cut down the nets from 9th last year. Unbiased observers would tell you Holmes or Highlands could have easily been the team representing the 9th as well. Either of them would have made a deep run at state. No disrespect as there are some great teams across the state! But the 9th was strong last year and looks to be again this year.

I don't see Mercy being in the top ten. I heard Anderson tore her other ACL. I feel bad for her

Is this the same team that has had 3 coaches in 4 years? Could have something to do with a team not playing to their potential.

Seemed to be just one team listed from the 9th. Am I missing something ?
