And, with the exception of Ryle, the remaining schedule isn't exactly setting the world on fire. Plenty of chances for Powell to rest those legs (or SK could pull a Matney and let him tote the rock 40 times a game and put himself at the top of the Mr. Football discussions).

Where do you keep coming up with 150 yards rushing given up vs Dixie? I have seen the film and I come up with about 85 yards rushing for Dixie vs SK.

It's why colleges do not get hung up on stats. Too unreliable. Some schools are really good. Some are not.

 

Dixie may be the very best but knowing DoubleDeuce it does give me pause when I see 131 and then he watches the film and sees considerably less.

" SK could be great? " Great teams don't allow a very down Dixie team this season to rush for over 150 yards, period. Yes, SK has a nice O, but the D, well that's another story. SK 49 Cooper 20.

Well, I didn't add up what was on the website...I watched the film and wrote down yards gained and lost on each play.

 

Also, my total is for the whole game. If I went by 1st team only, it about 30 yards less, Dixie's last seven rushing plays of the 4th quarter went for 30 yards.

ASSUME, you know what they say, BTW, the rushing stats are from SK, not Dixie, just watch the film 3 or 4 more times an you'll come up with 131, I'm guessing. In the big picture it doesn't matter, SK wins by a lot tonight. 52- 21.
