Science Friction
I'm not crazy about a lot of the performers nowadays but I do enjoy watching Neville and I can't get enough of the Cesaro guy. Very strong, very entertaining. His matches with Cena have been very good.
Randy Parker
Bray Wyatt is my favorite of the current guys. I don't necessarily like John Cena, but he is outstanding in the ring & the face of the franchise. If you were just grading wrestling skill, I'm with you on Cesaro. But he really lacks in the talking department. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose are very similar, although not as skilled at wrestling as Cesaro. But I think Seth Rollins is probably the most well-rounded wrestler right now. He's really gifted in the ring and very effective behind the mic. The shtick they have going with him now, the one where he often gets by on the skin of his teeth, fits him perfectly.
theguru
Neville is awesome, I hope he can stay healthy long term. Cesaro has it all, big, strong, can fly, good look, etc. Seth Rollins, can do it all and talk the talk, he has been a great Champ! Lucha Dragons, those guys are rough, love them! Dolph Ziggler, he can make anyone look good. Paige and Naomi. Throw Charlotte and the Boss, Sasha Banks in with them. High times for Divas. Randy Orton when he is the star of the show. Roman Regins when he flies. Ryback from a pure strength standpoint. Tyson Kidd, very gifted wrestler and I like his character. Brock Lesnar, quickness, strength, and overall wrestling/fighting ability.

I pretty much like everyone but I went at this thread more from a wrestling standpoint. About the only thing you and I disagree on is Dean Ambrose, I think he is excellent on the mic. theguru
Unlike some others I like Big Show, he is a way better bad guy than a good guy but with that said I like switches from heel to baby-face and baby-face to heel.

About the only thing you and I disagree on is Dean Ambrose, I think he is excellent on the mic. If you're just looking at what they do from a wrestling standpoint, I've got Cesaro out in front. Cena is right there, and I honestly would put Kevin Owens near the top. I can't stand that guy, but he's gifted. Ambrose has gotten better, but I still think he's way behind a lot of the others. I really didn't like him when I started re-watching wrestling about a year ago. But he's grown on me.

Cesaro is limited in mic skills but has terrific wrestling skills.

Cesaro's my guy from a wrestling standpoint and like you said about Rollins he is oozing with talent, wrestling-wise and mic skills. He's a great heel. I'm with you also on the face to heel turns and vice versa. I've always enjoyed the turn. Orton is okay as a face but I think a much better heel like his dad. I have to say I have never really gotten into the diva stuff. I usually turn the channel rather than watch women wrestle. As far as looks, most of them are beautiful women, but there's something about that pasty vamp, Paige, that I like. Kinda has a mysterious, strange kind of sex appeal . Maybe the best match I've seen this year. Very unusual to be on the edge of your seat for a RAW match.

I know G & I disagree on this, but I'm with you. When we went to RAW back in May, there were a couple of college-age guys sitting behind us that were big-time fans. Really nice guys. They knew everything that was going to happen in terms of what match is next, etc. During one break they said to me, "The divas match is next, so you can go get something to eat." :lol2::lol2: So we went to get something to eat. Normally the Divas have been "disjointed" for lack of a better word. Plus, no Tag Team Title, no other titles besides the Divas Champ, etc. Basically, Divas have been an afterthought to the WWE. With the new additions and hopefully some better story lines I am looking for that to change. The WWE also has to be careful, Divas have to be able to wrestle, no exceptions. The ones that can't wrestle normally flop in my limited experience. The ones that can wrestle, and talk the talk like Paige, make it interesting. Another issue the WWE has to be careful with is using their reality show Total Divas as a vehicle to drive the Divas division. In my opinion huge mistake because they are two totally different types of recipes for success. But what do I know... With all that said, Divas matches are still my least favorite, but I like them. G, While I am not a big fan of the Diva matches, I used to like to watch the Fabulous Moolah back in the day. I'm talking back in the seventies. She was one tough, one very mean grappler. She would just maul the pretty-faced babes of the day. Moolah could really wrestle too. I think she held the title for several years once. Mae Young was a pretty tough gal back in her younger days as well.
dpeevh
Never cared for women wrestling but does anyone think with Rousey kinda being face of MMA right now and getting some mainstream media attention, the WWE has to promote the women more?
