I know people who have had iPhones and their screens shattered from a three foot drop. iPhone's are the least most durable phones on the market. My personal recommendation would be get the better phone, then get either an otterbox case for drops or lifeproof case for water.

August 7, 201511 yr Love my galaxy note 3. Plan on upgrading to the galaxy note 4 soon. Wife has the newest IPhone and hasn't had any problems . Biggest difference I can see between the two is the camera quality. It seems like my galaxy absolutely blows away the IPhone in terms of pictures.
