August 4, 201511 yr I was given free tickets in left field, Row E a few weeks back and have never before then and never will again sit on the left side of the field. The sun was so extremely hot and bright until 8 or so, absolutely the worst seats and time have had at a game. Took the free tickets on account of where they were for batting practice, guess what? neither team took batting practice. Meanwhile there is shade and no heat factor from home plate to center field, which I already knew. Will be back to what I know and in between home and first thru StubHub from here on out, when I actually do buy seats and not general admission.
August 4, 201511 yr :lol2: There isn't a bad seat in the stadium. So you don't like going to games where people actually attend, you don't like going to games with free seats because they're "in the sun"....why do you go to games period?
August 4, 201511 yr I love the LF seats the best. The sun is an issue. We used to just walk around and stand places till the sun went down then sat in the seats. Im not a fan of the seats on the 1B side. They sit funny.

August 4, 201511 yr Take it from a guy who knows what good seats are! Diamond seats! If not, the best value is the club seats down first base line. Spend the extra money, the free food more than covers the cost versus regular tickets.

Don't eat or drink that much at games, so that is not a big drawing point. Have sat in the Scout seats behind home plate, just not a big fan of sitting behind the net. Idea seats(Club) are between home and right, to me anyway.

Many options to choose from, not your standard issue ball park food. Montgomery inn, freshly made pasta, etc. Make it part of dinner and it pays off. Seats are good too. They are under cover which may save you on the sun screen.
August 4, 201511 yr I usually set in the club seats down first base line, we usually have a couple beers at Hooters then head over and eat dinner in the club with free food. I like the Scout Seats though the wife didn't care for them. I've also set in the box seats along third base line that are pretty good. I've got a vendor that usually takes us once a year on those.
August 4, 201511 yr Worst seats I ever had at GABP was several years ago when the Red Sox were in town to play. The wife grew up a Red Sox fan so we went to the game. It was sold out so we got stuck with nose bleed seats behind home plate. Hated those seats.

I know a couple that had those seats to a game a few years back and had an usher take them down put them in clubhouse seats in the 3rd inning
