His last Twitter activity was a little over 2 years ago.

If Matt Jones is to be believed, Maggard had a good relationship with an assistant coach on Billy Clyde's staff. When Cal came, he lost that source. Take that FWIW. Jones and Maggard never cared for each other, in large part because Jones allegedly stole recruiting info and then passed it off as his own work. Or that's at least how the story goes.

 

Maggard always seemed to be knowledgeable enough, but he shot himself in the foot with a style that was not appealing.
