Sad news. Whitney Houston's daughter has died at age 22.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of the late Whitney Houston and R&B legend Bobby Brown has died at age 22.Brown was moved to hospice care in June, with a family statement saying "Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate ... We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."

Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell, GA, home Jan. 31, by longtime boyfriend Nick Gordon and a family friend. She was rushed to a local hospital and placed in a medically-induced coma.

CPR was performed on Brown until police arrived. Police found no evidence of drug use and a family source denied she attempted suicide.

Her mother, Whitney Houston, was found dead Feb. 11, 2012, submerged in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Hollywood, CA, circumstances eerily similar to how her daughter was discovered. A toxicology report later revealed Houston had used cocaine shortly before her death and had a variety of prescription medication in her system, though they were not thought to be contributing factors. Her death was ruled an accident.

Following Houston's death, Brown was the sole beneficiary of Houston's wealth - estimated to be between $80 million and $115 million.

Brown was born March 4, 1993, in Livingston, NJ. Brown was raised in the shadow of her parents' famous relationship, which ended in 2007 after 14 years of marriage.

Brown was an aspiring musical artist and actress.

Bobby Brown's attorney, Christopher Brown, claimed Bobbi Kristina Brown was never married to Nick Gordon.

"To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not, and has never been, married to Nick Gordon," Christopher Brown said.

Not a big pop culture follower, but remember Whitney's awesome voice & her family story with a gospel music background. Super Bowl anthem (Giants/Bills, nor sure of year), one of the best ever.

I'd never heard of Bobby Brown, but seems from day one after being with him, her life plummeted to ultimate demise, with now further tragedy. Damn shame.
