Tragic accident to co-workers family

A co-workers family experienced a tragic accident at home Wednesday night. His daughter-in-law somehow accidently dropped a pistol, it discharged striking her in the abdomen, and she lost her baby who was almost to full term, around 8 months. Very very sad time for them. The mother they think will be ok, physically at least anyway.

Supposedly was reaching for something on top of an elevated surface where the gun was sitting, bumped it and it fell to the floor. That's the initial brief info we got here at work.
